Reva TAPs are RFID network infrastructure appliances that enable scalable deployment of RFID for sustainable operations in any environment. Reva offers several TAP models suitable for installation at facilities with different levels of RFID implementation complexity that scale to support from 1 to 1,000+ readers per site. The Reva Management System delivers enterprise RFID management via a suite of products that are compatible with all TAP models. The Reva Management System includes: the Reva Multi-site Manager (RMM), the Reva Management Console (RMC) and the Reva Scripting Tool (RST).

Reva TAP models:

The introduction of a TAP to a customer’s facility transforms a collection of autonomous readers into a reliable and scalable RFID Data Platform. Leveraging this architecture, the TAP implements the RFID Network Infrastructure layer which logically resides above the reader layer as an extension of the enterprise network.

The TAP platform includes a pre-packaged, open Java environment on which edge applications can be hosted. Using a library of APIs for sensors and other devices, Reva's partners and customers have built streamlined workflow applications that run on the TAP and leverage the performance, abstraction, security and redundancy capabilities that come standard with every appliance.

The Reva Multi-site Manager (RMM) is designed to be installed at central datacenter locations to provide web-based access for enterprise-wide RFID device, site and operations management. RMM highlights include: enterprise views, single site views, standard and configurable alerts, a user privilege model and reader firmware upgrade capabilities for all readers in the enterprise.

The Reva Management Console (RMC) is a software application for graphically configuring, monitoring and managing individual sites. The RMC is suitable for installation on Windows PCs and laptops with network connectivity to the sites which need to be managed. The powerful configuration capabilities include device placement on a scaled logical representation of each physical site, point-and-click reader and antenna selection, location definitions and RF parameter provisioning.

The Reva Scripting Tool (RST) provides a scriptable command line interface for automating bulk operations such as upgrading TAPs, setting site configurations, administering password security and changing facility parameters on TAPs and devices across the enterprise.
